Our Story
A short version of how we got from there to a hilltop in Taormina.

How we met
It all started back in 2021 at our door-to-door sales job. Bart joined Jaz's team, and Jaz became his manager and mentor. We kept it strictly professional right up until Jaz couldn't hold out any longer and made the first move after only a few weeks. We hit it off straight away, during the day and on the team nights out, and it wasn't long before our first date after work.

The years in between
Not long after that we were jetting off to Tenerife for our first holiday together. As Jaz put it: if you can travel together, you can stay together. Luckily we didn't take that too seriously, because the first holiday was a disaster. We've promised we'll never go back to Tenners — and it set the bar very high for our worst ever holiday.

The proposal — Philippines
Anyone who knows Bart knows he can't keep a secret, so something this big was out of the bag pretty quickly. We planned a trip to the Philippines and Bart decided that was where he'd propose. What he did manage to keep quiet was how he'd do it — until Jaz went down to the hotel desk and the staff said, "so, are you ready for your helicopter ride?" It was the most beautiful proposal ever: flying over the most stunning island in the Philippines, above the bluest water you've ever seen, Bart asked Jaz to marry him. And of course she said YES!

Why Sicily
Why not! We've always wanted to get married in the sun, and we both love Italian food — so why not combine the two. We're so grateful to have you all join us and share this special occasion with us.
